Unable to open shops

Hello,

We’re encountering an issue with visible shops on our Costa Rica testing instance (pruebas) that we haven’t been able to resolve.

Issue: When working with Order Cycles, we’re unable to view Shops that should be in an open state. The Shops are not appearing in an open state, we can see them in the closed list.

What we’ve tried so far:

  • Adding products.

  • Configuring order cycles

Environment details:

Has anyone experienced this issue before, or could point us in the right direction? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Is there stock (on hand column or ‘on demand’) for these products? Products with no stock do not appear in the shop - even if selected to appear.

Is the ‘closed date’ for the order cycle past the open date?

Is the producer of the products added to the order cycle? (The producer needs to give the seller ‘permission’ to sell - under enterprise permissions - if they are different enterprises).

Have the products been ‘selected’ for sale in the product dropdown. If the selling enterprise is of the type ‘sells own’ - then you will see the product list on the order cycle page - make sure the products are checked. If the selling enterprise is a ‘sells any’ type - then look at both the ‘incoming’ and ‘outgoing’ order cycle pages and make sure the products are checked.

Last thought - make sure you have no tags interferring with this (eliminate any ‘tag rules’ for your testing)

Follow the user guide steps and you should be fine. User guide should be pinned to your dashboard.

I can’t be more precise without a login to your instance. Tell me if you want me to create a login.

Thank you for your suggestions. I went through the troubleshooting steps and found something that may help identify the issue.

The products have stock available, the order cycle dates are correct, and the products are selected. The producer has granted the required enterprise permissions to the seller.

As a test, I duplicated the order cycle and changed the coordinator from hub to producer. When producer is the coordinator, the products appear correctly in the order cycle. However, when the hub is the coordinator, the products do not appear (0 variants).

My intention is to use hub as the central hub and platform administrator, while each producer manages their own products, inventory and orders. This seems to indicate that I am missing a configuration that allows the hub coordinator to include products from supplying producers.

Could you please advise what additional configuration is required for this hub-and-producer setup?

This really sounds like a permissions problem to me. I would start fresh because maybe there was a glitch along the way the first time….. (HA HA, equivalent to unplugging and plugging in again.)

Make sure you are logged in as an owner or manager of the PRODUCER enterprise.
As the producer enterprise, delete the permissions the producer/supplier has given the hub. (Just completely delete them.)

Then, as the producer/supplier enterprise still, give the permissions to the hub enterprise again. Make sure you give permission to ‘add to order cycle’.

Now logout, and login as the hub.

Close the existing order cycle.

Open a new order cycle.

And lets see….
