OFN code is riddled with inefficient queries, page loads etc.

This post contains of issues that have been identified in the past that refer to suggestions. The purpose of the post is to be a point of reference to aid developers searching for optimising ideas to quickly reference what others have noticed in the past but not been able to act on.

Please please please do I think for broad problems like this one it is useful to have everything in one place so we can pick off low hanging fruit one by one. I made it a wiki so you can edit the original post.
