Hub manager is aware of the impact of the modification she makes in her products catalogues on active order cycles

What is the need / problem

Mary has an active order cycle.
She needs to modify her product list because the way the bread were listed was not practical for the product, so she changes the products… and she didn’t think that this would have an impact on the active order cycle of course.
To prepare the distribution it is a mess for Mary as she has a mix of old and new versions of the product in her report…

Who does it impact

All hub managers and associated customers who then have mistakes in their order treatment.

What is the current impact of this problem

Mistakes in order management. We regularly have feedbacks from users who don’t understand why there is an error in their report… this is usually one direction we investigate. When the user has made a mistake once usually he pays attention, but lots of users do that mistake once, which is very unconfortable for them.

What is the benefit in focusing on this

Secure the order management and avoid mistakes from hubs.

Potential solutions that will solve this problem

  • if a user modifies a product that is listed on an active order cycle, when he clicks on “save changes”, a pop-in appear and tell “the products bellow are listed in an active order cycle : A, B, C. The modification you are trying to save might alter the consistency of the orders in the order cycle. Cancel / Continue.”
