Trying a new format where we keep the same thread instead of creating a new one every time.

15th July 2026

We had a short discussion related to the influx of contributions and how sometimes issues or bugs are not defined enough to be picked up. Will wait for feedback on the thread on community-led activities and then assess if there are adjustments that can be made.

Ahmed

  • released a couple of issues for multiple images
  • currently working on adding and displaying variant images in the frontshop
  • also working on a bug related to shipping method not displayed

Gaetan

Maikel

  • back from holiday. Litefarm integration: while away litefarm team worked on their side, shared a sample file with me
  • looking at product page next
  • In the meantime fixing flaky specs with AI

Mario

  • preparing the current last issue for multiple images, and working on the next one for grid view (#14237)
  • Will do a first quick concept for displaying certificates information for producers as part of the Connecting Farms & Markets project

Maikel

  • Bug in Taler payment gateway, ideally discussing it with Rachel, will raise in the channel

  • 13 issues in code review, will focus on that tomorrow

  • Reviewed litefarm integration, seems good, waiting for prod test. In theory our stuff is in prod and they could share with us

  • Free access to the newest model of Claude, I’ve pointed it out to sort some flaky specs. I’m quite happy with that. It’s getting to the real cases now

  • Ready to pick up product page after code review

Gaetan

  • Code reviews, code cleanup and did a fix on the product modal template

  • Getting started on viewing multiple variants for a single product

  • Variant tags issues (#14557 #14478)

  • Might look into Fable related security issues mentioned by Greg, will pick that up next week

Ahmed

  • Finalized the support for images on variant here. Require one more review on it to move it ready for QA

  • Fixed the bug on the products image page where the add new image button is not displayed if the product doesn’t have an image. Got some feedback on the PR, working on it

  • Finalizing the work for displaying variant images on the carousel. Will pick up the next issues for the multiple images now.

Mario

  • Working on pagination for grid view

  • Starting concepts for displaying certifications coming from Litefarm

  • Working with Rachel to assess approach for shaping up future roadmap

  • Couple of PRs in review related to DFC upgrade, only one little task left (currency vocabulary updates)

  • Looking at product pages, will start this week

Gaetan

  • looking at security issues found by AI, playing with Github private fork for addressing them, but there are limitations

  • Working on viewing multiple variants for the grid view

Mario

  • working on displaying certifications coming from Litefarm in the producer overlay

  • Have done more research and analysis for grid view pagination, next week will provide a proposal

  • Working with Rachel on the next phase of the roadmap

  • Working on multiple product images, finishing displaying images in the carousels and then it will likely be available in the next release

  • Next will work on page for editing image (alt text, caption..)

Gaetan

  • Making progress on grid view variant list overlay

  • Working on and reviewing security issues, patch release yesterday for one of them

  • Cart refactor made with AI, will wait a bit before reviewing and deciding if worth bringing forward, Mario to do a quick test

Mario

  • designed layout for Litefarm certifications

  • Preparing issue for pagination, likely implementing a version very similar to backoffice product list, then optimising for mobile in a separate issue

  • Working on product pages, routing, URLs

  • Discussing URL structure, /fat-beets-food-hub/products/33880-bread-wood-fired-sourdough is preferred but will check with Rachel as well
