Australia funding vs funded features

Current Aus has one funded project Citi voucher. Running pilots in Aus. Funding won’t resume until June.
There is also

  • DFC Orders (UK)
  • Product tags (UK procurement). Not tied to particular feature.
  • Flower farms (CA). Also not tied. Additional funding on the way.
  • Launch portal? Potential for OFN dev (EU). To become clearer in March.

(Gen and Rachel also took notes)

@chahmedejaz

Two PRs ready to go: bug on login redirect, and add column to report.
Question: should Allow producer to edit their products on hubs’ orders #13031 be extended to cover Hubs that supply to other hubs? No, don’t worry for tnow.

@maikel

DFC sync products.
May be heading over budget. Will reconcile once product sync PR is merged.
Authorisation model: a producer-owner is importing the products. When the product is sold, the shop-owner is making the backorders. (these may be different users and both need to be set up).
So there’s few cases where we need to improve UX, while still deliver rest of project.
Maikel will be out of action for a few weeks soon.

Rachel and Konrad met with Garethe to learn more about testing these features.

Discussion: Funding integrations for diverse food selling landscape.

FDC also trying to raise money for other integrations (eg WooCommerce).

Is there more than one main solution for food selling (Shopify)?
In France and Quebec, several different platforms (including Google Spreadsheet) in use.
In France, WooCommerce and Wix may be bigger than Shopify.
