I believe in the value of working for justice and social equity. I love building gardens with perennial food bearing designs of local plants, rocks, and mushroom friendly materials. I believe that in dry regions, water can be stored very successfully by growing gardens above rotted wood and other composts, selected to stimulate water retaining fungi.

As a programmer, I love working with the UI, as well as the db and backend systems in node, rails, or php primarily, My current code efforts are in Meteor and Angular mostly.

I founded a non-profit called 'Ned Compost' which uses bicycles to collect materials, which are processed on town property by mixers allocated from Boulder County. Currently, I am working on developing projects under 'Ecocity Lifelong Learning Network' and this is one of them! I work primarily in the states and some (hopefully more) E.Africa.
