Thanks @Rachel for sharing. I like the idea of having the translations as variants, particularly so they’re easily discoverable by users.
I agree though, that there is some risk in editing the wrong version of the guide. I certainly found it non-intuitive, navigating between the three current versions (English, Spanish, Italian) as it currently stands in Gitbooks. Perhaps that’s because they are all mostly still in English, so it’s not immediately apparent which version you are looking at it.
It may be specially confusing right now as the first page on the User Guide (in all 3 versions) currently states ‘You are Reading the English Version’. So at the moment, I feel it would be a very easy mistake to make!
But I think once we get past the initial set up stage, and if we take care with training of new editors, then I feel like it’s something we can mitigate.
