My comment here is related to what I said in this other thread:
IMHO if you reach a point where the PRs are small enough to be reviewed / tested / merged it makes more sense to have multiple releases per month. A 1 month release window seems too big to me and I second @lin_d_hop opinion.
I understand that having a release per week can be overwhelming for AUS right now but maybe this could be a kind of goal for us since it would enforce to bring more people into that core contributors team from outside AUS.
